MyCustom Resin has been developed in partnership with Style Italiano, a study group of clinicians and researchers specialised in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.. MyCustom Resin is included in myCustom Rings Kit and Unica anterior Introkit and is conceived for the application of an innovative technique developed by Style Italiano.

MyCustom Resin is a light-curable, flowable resin similar to a common liquid dam. MyCustom Resin features ideal thyxotropy, polymerisation time, and final hardness for the use with MyCustom rings and Unica anterior.

My Custom Resin is used in:
– Class II restorations to create custom-shape ring tines by taking an impression of the healthy and intact proximal walls.
– Anterior restorations to fix Unica anterior with myCustom Resin in case the interdental wedge would risk deforming and/or moving the matrix.
– Class I restorations to recreate the occlusal anatomy with the stamp technique.

myCustom Rings have been developed in partnership with Style Italiano, a study group of clinicians and researchers specialised in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.

The myCustom Rings technique allows to easily recreate the pre-existing interproximal anatomy. The Rings are made from Nickel-Titanium with a reinforcement. The ring tines are custom-shaped by taking an impression of the healthy and intact proximal walls using the included light curable myCustom Resin. This enables to achieve strong contact points and precise proximal contour during restoration.

The myCustom Rings kit features a complete selection of assorted, thin Sectional Matrix Bands powered by Style Italiano (Quickmat, LumiContrast, and Transparent), as well as Interdental Maple Wood Wedges, and the re-designed Delta Tubes, also powered by Style Italiano.

    The use of myCustom Resin is recommended for fixing Unica anterior when it is not possible to adapt the matrix with interdental wedges. For example, in the case of a class III cavity adjacent to the cervical area of the tooth, the interdental wedge would risk deforming and/or moving the matrix. Therefore, the use of myCustom Resin is recommended in this case.
